Before You Commit

Typical timing is same day in store; a few weeks for bulk or embroidered orders. Ask:

• Does this boot carry an ASTM F2413 label, and which ratings does it have?
• Do you fit boots in store and measure both feet?
• Do you accept employer vouchers or company accounts?
• Is this high-visibility garment ANSI/ISEA 107 Class 2 or 3?
• Is this garment flame-resistant, and to which standard?

Tips

• Read the tag inside the boot: it lists the ASTM standard and ratings such as impact, compression and electrical hazard.
• Try boots on late in the day, wearing your work socks.
• Non-specialty safety-toe boots may be paid for by the worker under OSHA rules, so check your company policy.
