How We Get Our Data
safety.broker is a free directory of U.S. safety equipment suppliers, fire extinguisher and protection companies, safety and CPR trainers and occupational health clinics, with free compliance tools. It is published by Cute and Honey LLC, Houston, Texas. We are not a safety consultant, a training provider or a government agency, and we are not affiliated with OSHA.
How We Are Different
- No pay-to-rank. Every listing is free and shown in the same way. Businesses cannot buy a higher position or a badge.
- No sold leads. We do not ask for your phone number or email, and we never sell contact details.
- No invented reviews, ratings or counts. We only show facts from public data, with the source and date.
- Free tools without sign-up. The calculator, finder and checklists run in your browser.
The site is supported by display advertising, which is clearly labeled and separate from the listings.
Where the Listings Come From
- Businesses: OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, Open Database License). We include U.S. places tagged as safety equipment, fire extinguisher, workwear or occupational health, plus businesses whose names clearly name one of these trades. Fire stations, police, blood drives and unrelated names are filtered out. We list 1,129 locations (344 equipment and supply, 103 fire, 112 training, 233 clinics) from the copy downloaded on November 6, 2026.
- Coverage has gaps. OpenStreetMap is built by volunteers, so many real businesses are missing, especially independent trainers. A missing business says nothing about its quality.
- Provider types come from map tags and the business name, so a provider may offer more than we show. Red Cross entries may be offices rather than class sites.
- Credentials, insurance and reviews are not in this data, so we do not show them. Ask each provider directly.
- City names come from the address on the map or, if missing, the nearest U.S. Census Bureau 2024 Gazetteer place.
- Which pages exist: listings with at least two details (such as phone and address) get a full page. Others appear on their city page with a link to the map.
Rules and OSHA Facts
Rules cite the Code of Federal Regulations or the OSHA web page, checked on the date shown (penalties and State Plans on November 6, 2026). They are a plain summary of federal rules, general information rather than legal advice. State Plan states and newer updates may differ, so confirm with the current text before you rely on it.
Costs
Price ranges on this site are our own planning assumptions, labeled as such. They are not quotes or survey averages.
Refresh Schedule
We refresh listings from OpenStreetMap about every three months. The date of the current copy is shown at the bottom of every page.
