How Do You Choose the Right PPE?

Walk the workplace and write down each hazard, then choose gear rated for it, using the standard for that body part. Make sure it fits, train workers before use and certify your hazard assessment in writing. OSHA 1910.132 requires these steps, and employers generally pay for required PPE, with limited exceptions.
